Sequencing: Grab bag and End of the Month TPT round up

by adminS2U

I’m getting closer to finishing my conversation starter and WH question bundle.  I’ll be posting a survey on Facebook early next week to see what my last two topics should be.  I LOVED grab bags as a child.  Even now, I’m tempted to buy grab bags-even though I know it’s probably the merchandise that wasn’t selling.  I like the mystery of it.

Progressive bundles are an opportunity to save money-and pick up a lot of similar materials.  I’m excited because I have 2 new ones that will be focusing on sequencing.  The first is a “Snack-tivities” bundle.  Right now, it has two products-but it will have a total of 10 products by the start of next school year.

Right now it consists of 2 of my functional language activities.  Going forward each activity will feature a 3-6 step snack activity with full colored photos.  There will be more “non cook” options for the remaining activities.   Two options-one with the directions and one without will be provided.  Each new packet will contain (at a minimum):

  • Full color sequencing pictures
  • Themed first/next/finally graphic organizers
  • Verb tense forms-sorting mats
  • Question comprehension related to the activity
  • Scrambled sentences related to the topic OR the directions to the activity.

My second product will be available the beginning of December.  This one will focus on sequencing within craft activities.  Stay tuned for more information.  My Snacktivities bundle can be purchased at my TPT store.

TPT Round Up

There are a ton of fantastic resources on Teachers Pay Teachers for Sequencing Activities.  Here are a few that my blogging friends shared with me:

Jen at SLP runner has two great products for sequencing in the Fall-I’m pretty excited about the caramel apple one!

Tech n Talk SLP’s has an awesome product with 3 step stories and  cloze sentence activities.  I love fill in the blank activities and use them quite a bit with my students.

Felice at the Dabbling Speechie has a great packet of sequencing activities for the whole year.  I love the fact that they are black and white and limited prep.  Perfect for the busy school SLP.

Autumn at the Speech Language Investigator has a great product for teaching students how to answer when questions using before/after.  I like the visuals that come with it.

Teach Speech 365 has a snail themed product in which students put the sequences of common events in order.  Great for those students who have difficulty organizing their thoughts.
